SpeedStyle built directly on internal learnings from FlexStyle, especially how we handled airflow and brushless DC motors. It launched to live as FlexStyle's dedicated hairdryer sibling, Shark's third haircare product. I designed the main unit and every accessory in the lineup: concentrator, polisher, wide-tooth comb, diffuser, and two styling brushes.

The line launched with the white HD300 in August 2023 at $199, followed by a mid-life refresh, HD500 SpeedStyle Pro Flex added a folding handle, and HD700 SpeedStyle Pro pushed past the original's power. A short-lived HD200 also launched in Japan, but a cord failure ended its run early.
