Vertex Pro was our second-generation cordless, building on the original Vertex platform. The main goal was a more premium handheld unit and wand, while the nozzle carried over unchanged from the prior model. It ended up being mostly a refresh rather than a clean-sheet redesign
The folding wand is a hallmark of all shark cordless stick vacuums
It launched alongside a sibling cordless upright vacuum, adding Powered Lift-Away for above-floor cleaning. Both vacuums shared a premium battery output display, giving a real-time read on runtime at a glance.
The large metallic band on the side helped sell this refresh as more premium
Vertex Pro went on to win Vacuum Wars' 2023 Best Cordless Vacuum award in the mid-range category.
